I stayed there over this past weekend Friday to Monday stay. The hotel was nice, clean and very friendly. Staff was helpful and super friendly when in need of something. The Continental breakfast was very nice and the staff was prompt in refilling and friendly. Tammy was a great staff on duty and went above for our stay and was super friendly in conversation with us. Room was small but fit the needs. Yes the walls are a little thin but not thin where we could hear people conversation but could tell people were moving around.... read more

Not your comforting and reassuring style as is custom to Hilton. Feels more like an athletic club with sports like graphics on the interior walls. Was surprised to find that the phone in the room had no access to call down to the lobby because there was no cord attached to the wall. So of course I had to use my own cell phone to make an outside call down to the lobby front desk. I stayed at Tru by Hilton for a one-night out, and while it was clean, it lacked any sense of comfort or warmth. The room felt sterile and cheap — no carpet, no cozy touches, and definitely no inviting atmosphere. The only seating option besides the bed was a stiff office chair, which made relaxing nearly impossible. The bed itself was surprisingly worn out for a newer hotel. Despite frequent hotel stays, this was the worst hotel experience I've ever had. My room wasnt swept when I arrived, there was a flosser laying on the floor, the shower had orange mold. A room next to mine had a drug overdose with someone hollering and screaming alarmingly in the early morning. The front desk only asked them to quiet down. They did not ask them to leave and this resulted in me (apparently the next person to enter the hall after the front desk staff left) being cursed at as I left my room.
