Service was exceptional. Quality of rooms, uh not so much. When you go to Tru expect the basics, nothing more. I was a bit disappointed with no coffee maker, no closet, or microwave in rooms, but the lobby made up for it because they did supply 24 hr coffee.
I booked a “pet-friendly“ room for two nights. My dog was with me when I checked in. I paid the pet fee. When I asked for some extra blankets, the staff member (Kathryn) who brought them was rude to me, telling me I needed to have a sign on the door and told me I needed to pay another pet fee. It isn’t what she said to me, it was how she said it. Absolutely unpleasant. I was in my pajamas, and she told me I needed to come down to the front desk to sign a form. Rooms are nice and clean. Staff was very accommodating. Complementary breakfast was good.
