Troy and his crew did a great job installing new siding and a window and fixing the flashing around the chimney. He explained what they were going to do and showed me the work after it was done. The installers aligned each sheet of siding perfectly so that all the seams line up. It looks beautiful, and the work was done quickly and efficiently.
We had a very bad experience. He quoted one amount and then when he got to the house, he practically doubled the amount. He pulled some siding off and cut a big hole in another part of the siding, leaving us to deal with repairing the damage. The insurance had already been paid out based on the lower amount. And then, of course, there was some shouting, etc. Very unpleasant. Just felt like a scam when the price nearly doubled.
Several years ago Troy came to install some iceguards on our home. Once we signed on, he was really difficult to communicate with. We have often debated why he chose such a strange style of guard for our roof, as it seemed to make the snow stay rather than break. About 2 years after installation, we started noticing water damage in our walls each Spring. We replaced some of the fascia and soffits, re-caulked our windows and had our eaves assessed.
