Had to take our van back twice after an oil change because oil pan plug wasn't tightened properly. No apology for our inconvenience and time from them. Went to another repair facility to get it corrected costing us additional labor. Most expensive "cheap" oil change ever! I do not recommend Troy Auto Care.
My vehicle broke down on me at Somerset Mall Parking structure late Friday afternoon. I knew exactly what the issue was... my battery was not holding a charge so it he had to be the alternator. I called AAA for a tow and they sent a very nice young man named Manny to help. I was trying to figure out where to take my vehicle to get it repaired, and Manny suggested Troy Auto Care. Excellent service. I have been taking my vehicles to Troy Auto Care for about six years, from oil changes, maintenance and repair services. The owner and staff are professional and courteous. I've recommended them to my family and friends.
I found out about this gem by accident. I called AAA to have them send someone to start my car - they sent a person from Troy Auto Care. I called them to find out the cost of a new battery and an estimate on front brakes. The prices were quite reasonable. When I got there, I was treated courteously as they took my information - they had bottled water and fancy coffee drinks for customers to enjoy during their wait. My driver Jake was an absolute GEM! He was patient and polite and even when we were having an issue with the garage we took my vehicle to, he took the time to help another motorist get a tire aired up! He is a great guy! When we got my car to Troy Auto Care's location the guys there were also patient and very helpful! I would recommend them to everyone!!
