Best view in the area, beautiful building + patio, great music on patio or in back on stage area. Interesting events, wedding destination, a pool & golf course...all open to the public. Everytime I (+ others) have visited the food has been very good, the staff friendly, the service great. The owner has created a venue that is worth the drive. He (+ she & others) have literally recreated (twice...first to renovate, second after a fire) a masterpiece in the Newark, Licking County area. Alot of hard work. Support local business... read more

We celebrated a 40th birthday party at The Trout Club last night. They were so accommodating. The staff was great! The food was delicious! Everyone commented on how beautiful the venue was. Special thanks to Arlena for working with us. Eveyone had a great time.
Was a nice place for a wedding , but if something happens don't expect a call back from management , and expect management to "have just left " any other time you try to call.
I had my wedding at the Trout Club on July 16th-excellent all around-it was absolutely beautiful, the food was perfect-our guests and myself were very impressed! Arlena catered to all my needs while remaining calm and collected (unlike myself). The day was everything I had imagined it to be!
Beautiful setting, delicious food, huge servings,wonderful waitress, Dorian, all adds up to a perfect evening. We had been there last year with family from out of state, before the fire. They were back in town and wanted to come back. So glad to have such a first class, upscale place in Newark to visit. Keep up the great work.
Yes great place. Love the music on Thursdays. Please work on draft beer and more ciders and wine.
