I was very disappointed with my experience at Tropical Smoothie. The overall environment was extremely unprofessional and uncomfortable. The staff was openly yelling, using inappropriate language, and the music was so loud it felt more like a nightclub than a restaurant. Customers could barely hear when their orders were being called. inconsistent on portions for wraps. wraps are never cut even, or all the way through making it difficult to eat without it being a huge mess. monotone seemingly uninviting employees during every visit i've had.
I came into tropical smoothie around 10:00am this morning with cash expecting to get a nice smoothie and meal but was rudely told that they could not accept my $50 bill. I then asked if it was due to the lack of cash available in the drawer (I have worked food service and know that can be the case early in the morning) but was told they just wouldn’t take it. Food was nasty, soda was expired, employees don't acknowledge customers then roll their eyes when you try to get their attention. Waste of time and money.
