I love Tropical Smoothie Cafe. This was my first time at this particular location, and it was very clean, staff was great and my order came out within minutes. I thoroughly enjoy their they're quick and healthy entrees and their reasonable prices.
I love Tropical Smoothie Cafe, however, my experience at this location was extremely concerning and could have resulted in a serious medical emergency. I ordered a Dragon Fruit bowl and clearly informed the employee twice that I have a coconut allergy. The employee acknowledged my request and confirmed it would not be added. I purchased the bowl on Saturday but took my first bite on Sunday morning. I immediately tasted the coconut, spit it out, took a Zyrtek and used my EpiPen.
