I usually go to this tropical smoothie and receive amazing service. However, every time I come in it is either extremely hot during the summertime (currently) or extremely cold (during the winter season). It is horrible to stand in for the few minutes I am waiting for my order, so I just imagine how bad it is for employees who are working shifts for hours on end. One employee even informed me that she has been on the verge of feeling like passing out. It is clearly an issue making teenagers work in that heat.
I recently went to a Tropical Smoothie in Wichita, Kansas, and I think this may be the one. It was in a shopping center, which had a Lowe’s in it, but I am not a resident of that area. I would give their customer service a three 3️⃣ or four 4️⃣, but the smoothie I ordered, I would give a one 1️⃣. I was so disappointed, and after spending seven dollars on it, I threw most of it away. I came in today and asked one of the employees if they could turn the music on because it was silent in the store. She told me the music system only worked for one day and then stopped working again. On top of that, it was extremely hot inside, honestly even hotter than it was outside. I felt bad for both the customers and employees having to sit and work in that heat, the atmosphere NEEDS attention. Atleast the smoothies are good.
I come into this Tropical Smoothie pretty often with my wife and one thing we always liked was the music. It made the place feel more alive and more comfortable for the guests while waiting for the orders. It gave the whole shop a fun, upbeat vibe.
