I was very disappointed in my smoothie. I ordered and Acai Berry Boost, which I get every single time that I go to Tropical Smoothie Cafe. I did not taste it or look at it until I got to work. It was almost black. I had to leave work and go back to get it remade. The remake was still not completely right, but it was much better. This was very inconvenient for me. The person working there was very nice though and she was working alone so I tried to have some grace for her.
I just picked up a açai bowl to go because I was in the area and not near my normal place. Huge mistake. I was shocked how fast I got it, should have been a red flag. Got home, it's frozen solid. Everywhere else in town makes a fresh base. This base was a frozen chunk of base. Must have been pulled directly out of a freezer. Hayley was super friendly and personable and went above and beyond to make sure I got exactly what I wanted. This particular location was the cleanest one I’ve been too (not than any of them are dirty) but it was such an outstanding experience. I’ll definitely be coming back and trying whatever Hayley recommends again!
