I ordered a simple order and added no almonds to my bowl because I am allergic. I received a cheese and chicken dilla when I ordered a cheese and can’t eat any of my meal. I will not be receiving a refund for up to 7 days and the manager at the alpine location was very rude. Will not be back
Never have I been to a restaurant and been told no when trying to add an ingredient (when they have it in other dishes and the dish isn't prepared before hours of operation). I went in to order something I've ordered at EVERY single other Tropical smoothie, and I drive all over West Michigan. I always add their Greek yogurt to my smoothies. They usually just upcharge me and add a scoop in (they use Greek yogurt for their bowls). The girl that ring me up was new and very sweet. You can only expect so much from highschoolers and kids in their first year of college. The bar is pretty low these days.
The management is horrible, staff are clique-y. I was in the store just to grab a DoorDash order and I overhear a manager YELLING at an employee saying all of these hurtful things. The other customers in the store also realized and when the girl walked out she had tears rolling down her face. I don’t know the details but I do know that a manager should NEVER speak to their employees like that. This girl looked to be 17-18 which just makes it all the more worse.
