I'm familiar with the customer service at Tropical Smoothie and was expecting a friendly happy person to greet me. Instead I got a woman asking me if I was Gigi. When I answered her no, she responded with a,"what do you want?" I was hungry and in a hurry, so I ordered and sat down. Another customer came in and she was very friendly with them. Even tho I came in before them she prepped their food first. I won't be coming back to this Tropical Smoothie.
Ordered a Thai Chicken Wrap and attempted to order an Acai Berry Blast in a kids size (because 24oz is too much) and apparently that's not possible? No big deal. I said "Don't worry about it" and proceeded to pay for my wrap (so I thought). Staff made my smoothie in 24oz (I still don't understand why) and when I clarified that I didn't order that, manager ordered her staff to toss it in the garbage. I placed an order of two smoothies and an entree. Smoothies came out quickly as they normally do, but I had to wait 20 minutes and then ask the employees that were lounging in the back where my entree was. Confused they asked if I had received it; clearly I did not. Had to wait an extra 7 minutes for my order, received it, and sadly tasted horrible!
A bizarrely obnoxious TS location. Management to blame. Food fine, albeit starting to get overpriced.
