We love the Tropical Grill and have been visiting this restaurant whenever we are in Spruce Pine - 3 or 4 times a year. The service is prompt and very friendly. The food at the Tropical Grill is exceptionally fresh, delicious, and plentiful. No matter the season, we always ask for bowls of the made-from-scratch chicken soup in addition to our entrées because it's truly wonderful. I would eat here every week if I lived closer. Can't wait to go back.
No matter what you choose on the menu, it is cooked with perfection. You'll love the owners.. They have a 100% cleanliness rating and the restaurant is just wonderful!. The best of what NC has to offer!
Great atmosphere but they are small and can take awhile to serve and get food. We loved it. Don’t go for a quick bite you’ll be frustrated. If you want amazing cultural cuisine this is an awesome experience.
I went with my family and asked for a table yesterday, as we were in town for the Blacksmithing festival.The waitress was rude and said that they weren’t taking more orders. We left, but after around 30 minutes, while we were trying to find a place to eat, we walked by again and saw a family that wasn’t there before , enjoying their food.
