The staff was very friendly and helpful, and the food was absolutely delicious! We were on vacation and had to go back for a second visit before going back home!
Took a day trip to the Spruce Pine area, and planned it all around lunch at the Tropical Grill. My wife and I had an exceptional meal. "5 Stars" from us. This little place is has uniquely delicious food, and is charming in every way. :)
I enjoy this little slice of heaven every time I am in Spruce Pine. The food is great and the service even better.
Wanted to try for the longest time, finally did the other night. I got the Hawaiian bbq sandwich for myself and the chicken panini for a coworker. I do not like bbq on a bun to me it takes away from the flavor of the bbq but this is the best bbq sandwich I have ever eaten. Their chips and salsa are also delicious. I tried a bite of my buddies chicken panini and as great as mine was it left me whishing I had gotten one to. If you've not eaten there before I highly suggest you give it a try you won't be disappointed.
Excellent cuisine, don't pass it by if you come through town, you'll regret it!

Best place to eat along the BRP. Outstanding, authentic food and even better service. The owners were so nice. This was the highlight of my trip.
