worst chinese food ever! – i heard a lot about this resturant, i have no idea why people get excited for this chinese food in a parking lot in the middle of no where. i've been in many chinese resturants in my life, the most expensive ones and the cheapest ones. first of all this one is not cheap for the portions they serve, second, the food is not even close to be called chinese. what kind of chinese resturant doesnt serve brown rice or sesame chicken? service was horrible, the waiter was very nasty and thats why he didnt ge... read more

The only1 in Mia, otherwise go2 LA, NYC – Ok, folks, let's be realistic here. Unless you're a visitor, otherwise your taste buds are in Miami just like me. This is the best dim sum this city can offer and if you know another, don't be a "shelf-fish", post it. Or buy your plane tickets and go to LA or Flushing, NYC for the best dim sum your plane tickets can buy. (never mind about the Chinatown, all the best dim sum chefs went to Flushing after 911, silly)

Tropical is aiiight. (That's black lingo for "So-So", folks.) – Trust me. I've been there over at least one hundred times. I've done Chinese New Year's. I know the name of the Manager and all of his sons. But there are some problems with Tropical. Dim Sum has only TWO dishes for vegetarians: Chinese bokchoy and Chinese Broccoli. I always have to order off the menu, and it always takes them about 20 minutes to find me a menu. Every. Single. Time. Also, has anyone else noticed that all of the waiters speak English perfectly in... read more

best dim sum in south florida, as good as chinatown, ny – excellent choice, good with kids, would also recommend the Peking duck which is prepared in the traditional "2 ways"

Review from a chinese – My parents are from Hong Kong and I lived in Hong Kong / China / Vancouver for quite a while so i would know my Dim Sums. Some Dim Sum are average like everything made from shrimp, but the beef things are awful. Pork Bun is so-so. No speciality dishes, all generic dim sums. From where I come from we have really creative dishes. This restaurant will only rate below average in where I come from, but better than average in Miami.

Excellent choice for Chinese food – In my opinion this a very good Chinese restaurant in Miami. I have been several times in China and you can find real chinese taste in the food and ambience.

Good but there must be something better... – nice dimsum but if u say authentic, i couldn't see a single chinese eating there. maybe it's time to change it around than just dimsums?

Yum Yum Dim Sum – If you're lookin for a Dim Sum restaurant like the ones from San Francisco, Los Angeles or even Chicago this is not the place for you, but it's pretty good if you want the basic Dim Sum. The selection isn't that big during the week, but we were assured that they have more selection during the weekend. We're going back for Chinese New Years to see if they have special Dim Sum for the special occassion!

Overpriced. – The dim sum is good but overpriced, decor is nice but tables are cluttered, crowded parking lot also.
