I originally used Tropical Air for a new AC installation when I moved into my home 10 years ago and been using them ever since. Elaine is awesome when it comes to scheduling and James the tech is very knowledgeable and efficient when it comes to the maintenance needed. I even signed up for their bi-annual PM service. I highly recommend using this company when it comes to AC service and maintenance!
They installed a new unit and I have had ongoing issues ever since. Have had them out to fix it, which they initially tried to charge me for. Tech that came out to fix it admitted the issue was their error. Company never took ownership. Additionally, they're Unprofessional. Do yourself a favor, go elsewhere.
I had an air conditioner put in from tropical air condition. It's not working properly. I asked him to confix it. They told me it's fixed. It's still broken every time I call them. They make up a story so when you have a $6000. My AC had gone out on Saturday. It was 85 in the house when someone from Tropical Air came to my house on a Sunday to repair it. This man did a great job and taught me a few things about my AC. Thank you.
Our AC went out and the work order was assigned to this company on May 31st. We were told parts would be ordered on Monday, June 2nd, and that it would be fixed the next day. That same story repeated daily — “the part will arrive tomorrow” — while the work was rescheduled again and again. After nearly two weeks in 90+ degree indoor heat, it was finally fixed on June 11th.
