Phenomenal place! Family owned and run. Management and the owner still visit the table with every party. The food is fantastic, the service is stellar. Each time we dine at Tropical Acres we leave more than satisfied. Love that place!
My family and friends gathered for my cousin's 80th Birthday Party which was was in and of itself great. Though Tropical Acres was nice and the staff was accomodating, the food left a lot to be desired. First of all the portions were skimpy and the food was barely warm. The roast beef was tough and for $27.00 each I expected much better food and more of it. We had to find something to eat after we left the party. I would not recommend this place for an event that included food.
We loved our experience for my brother in laws birthday. There were 7 of us. We had an awesome waiter named Louis. He went above what most waiter would do. He was so friendly. We had a waitress to that was so wonderful. I am so sorry I don't remember her name. We had a variety of dishes which were all very good and cooked to perfection. They even put candles on his cake, which I didn't bring. The piano player even came to the table to tell him happy birthday. We have eaten there before and always enjoyed it.
At first I wasn't very happy to find out they had a special menu since the person I spoke with when I made reservations didn't tell me. However, we decided to stay and I'm glad we did. Besides the food being great the service was better. From the hostess to the servers everything was great. My daughter really enjoyed her 18th birthday dinner.
