After surgery for removal of lap band, I found lack of explanation for recovery from the staff at the hospital ... follow up from this office was fine and informative.
They are always willing to work with you, and there has never been a time they have not had a smile on their faces while doing so. They are willing to answer any question and if they do not have the answer right there they call and follow up to get it for you and let you know. After I had a less than positive experience with my ultrasound they actually called the facility to find out out who was my technician, to help ensure other patients were not sent to the same place/person to have the same experience.
Dr. Sommer was very detailed on what to expect from beginning to end - the good and the not-so good. His staff is very professional and discreet. The initial consultation is what tipped the scales in favor of finally going through a procedure that I had been considering for several years. I am only on week post-op and already feel better than how I have felt in years. I am very excited about the new life that awaits me and am grateful to NYBG for giving me that start.
My consultation with Dr. Small was very informative. He discussed the procedure thoroughly and also what to expect. At the time of the procedure his staff made sure I was comfortable. I will definitely be seeing Dr. Small again for future procedures.
Dr. Sommer is amazing. He is caring, listens to any concerns, and informative, Everyone in the office is so welcoming. Kudos to Dr. Sommer and his staff!!

Friendly, informative, supportive and patient. Excellent support connection with Ashley at hospital. One piece I would like is the ability to callback directly to office I visit, although this has not caused any significant issue.
