Dr. Sookdeo was very professional and a great listener. She addressed both my husband and I’s concerns and proceeded with referrals as needed. The staff in the front were also very kind and courteous, they assisted me with my referrals and explained who I should call and who would be calling me and what my next visit would be like and when. I did not have any problems at this clinic, I’m not sure I understand the bad reviews on here but everyone was very nice!! I had a pleasant experiences thank you Dr. Sookdeo and staff!!
Dr. Sookdeo is very nice, but the woman at the front desk is a threatening monster. When I went for the once-a-year Medicare 'tune-up', Dr. Sookdeo suggested that I do a living will in case I can't talk for myself. There was no mention that it would cost me anything let alone $171.00. I had my first visit with Dr. Sookdeo recently and she is an exceptional physician. She is thorough, has great bedside manner and made me feel comfortable throughout the entire appointment. I highly recommend her!
Stay far away from this physician. The office staff is absolutely horrible and very rude. They have no clue how to bill your insurance and you are left with a very high bill. When you ask them about the bill they huff and puff and roll their eyes. I have also never once felt like she was knowledgeable and I never felt safe with her. When ever I asked her a question she said "everyone's different" while shrugging her shoulders. I selected Dr. Sookdeo to supervise my medical care after my long time doctor retired. Dr. Sookdeo immediately learned a great deal about my conditions from a diligent review of my medical records and a long discussion with me. She is proactive in managing my care and offering recommendations to improve my health. Her office staff has been excellent, friendly, and responsive to me. Dr. Sookdeo very attentive, not rushed during my first appt with her practice. During a phone inquiry regarding the status of a Rx renewal, the receptionist/office clerk was overbearing then rude about non payment of a bill I was unaware had been declined by my insurance. She threatened to send the bill to collections, even though this was the 1st I'd heard about its status. My wife and I have been with Dr Sookdeo since 2015. She has taken the time to listen to every health concern we have and she has correctly diagnosed every one of them. As we get older, our needs have changed and again Dr Sookdeo adjusted our meds/care accordingly. Dr. Sookdeo is very professional and the best Dr we have ever had. Zuley as well. So much so that we have stayed with Dr Sookdeo for 7 years and even though she is now almost a 2 hour drive away, we are not willing to change to a new doctor.
Highly knowledgeable, thorough and very compassionate. I have been a Podiatrist for 30 years and have been around many family care doctors. Dr Sookdeo is one of the best. I trust her implicitly with my healthcare. Highly recommended.
Dr. Sootdeo is wonderful but the staff is horrible. You are unable to get RX refills for anything, even is you have been seen just as the doctor asked. For example, the doctor goes on vacation for a week and they have no one to refill her percriptions for her?? What doctors office does this? I was told I was out of luck, by the Office Manager. This isn't the first run in I've had to not getting my RX filled. Getting RX refills should not be this difficult. She is wonderful, office is BAD!
