One of my favorite stops. Great food, drive and staff. Particularly enjoy Open Mic on Thursdays (7-10p) with @Jair Driesenga. Nice mix of talent, and open to all ages. Don't miss this on Thursdays if you want to start your weekend right.
Really love the open mic nights on Thursdays. The atmosphere is unmatched and awesome for Zeeland. It was the first place I played in public and I try to come back as often as I can. It's really nice to see the Open Mic night grow and draw a different crowd during the week. The food and beer is great to go along with extremely nice servers. I recommend to checking out Thursday nights, something about the live and even vulnerable entertainment makes for a great night out.
I went to Tripel Root a few months ago for their open mic and I was very impressed. All I had to do was sign up and Jair(the guy who runs the open mic) got me all set up and was very accommodating! I just showed up, ordered some food and played some tunes! I would highly recommend checking this place out wether you are just getting some drinks, grabbing some dinner, or just jamming with some friends. �
A bit upset that they don’t have Perception of Reality on tap anymore, the only brew I like that they have... But I’m not that mad because the only reason I go to Tripel Root is for the open mic which is one of the best in West Michigan in my opinion.

I've got to say, from the perspective of a local resident for 50-some years, that Tripelroot is a fabulous pub, with a warm community fed by delicious brews & grub, plus an open mic experience hosted by an immensely talented musician friend who welcomes all wannabe performers and supports established songsters. This is a family-friendly community center in the heart of Zeeland, Michigan, full of peace and love. That's all I have to say.

Such a blessing to have a community gathering spot like this! I host open mic on Thursdays -- and having that weekly opportunity to be a part of local folks' respective artistic journeys in this way has been such a healthy and inspiring part of my life. I've made new friends here, I've tried new things here, and I've honestly learned a lot about myself here as well. Thanks, Tripelroot! Idk what I'd do without y'all!! <3
