Trio's Rocks. I eat here weekly, without fail. Not only because it's close but I have had club sandwichs all over monroe/wm and this one is hands down the best!!
WE LOVE TRIO'S. Maybe it's a place only locals understand -at least based on the previous review- but the nostalgic, relaxed environment combined with the creative, original recipes offered on the menu make it a local Favorite. It's awesome!
Waste of Money. First of all, after hearing so many GOOD things about Trio's, I was very surprised to find that a place trying as hard as Trio's is to be upscale was attached to a gas station! I do not mean to be judgey, but that was definitely the first red flag. The food, is trying to hard, and the restaurant does not know what it is going for. GYROS!. Great Gyros, cheese fries are awesome, and the service is slow, but worth the wait. :)
Just okay. My husband and I had the French dip sandwich to go. It was tasty, but not what I expect in a French dip. The gravy is not au jus, and tasted a little processed, and the bread is not baguette-ish or what I think of as French bread, really more like a hoagie bun. The meat was fantastic, but on the skimpy side. The fries were thick and steak-style, and a little soggy. Pricey. Daq's was packed so we walked over to Trios. (which you can hardly do anymore since somebody erected a wooden fence between!). Trios waitress was very good, food was fine, prices were very high for lunch.
Honest Waitstaff. My son left his Birthday Card with money in the envelope. The waitresses held it for him until we came back to get it. Very positive experience.
