i was in active psychosis, and a younger female staff member in the psych emergency department mocked me to other staff because of the delusion i was experiencing. it was genuinely disturbing. they assumed i wasn’t aware of what was happening, but i was. to her, karma has a way of coming back around. good luck.
Horrible inhumane treatment from staff. They lack the necessary training to properly perform their duties. The show no compassion for the patients or the visiting relatives who are in the midst of such difficult circumstances. The lack of empathy is so upsetting. I will do my very best to bring my child out of this place ASAP as the environment there is not conducive to a prompt recovery. They are rude and unprofessional.

This place does basic medication management and some therapy services. It is a bit rough, and you also have to go to three newcomer patient groups before they will start services with you.
