A friend of mine is West Indian (from Trinidad) and she was so excited to go, especially after hearing good things about the food truck. We went several months ago with a total of 4 people and never returned. I would avoid this place and check out other places like teddy's roti shop or crown bakery. Food - way overpriced for not good food. The chana and aloo/potatoes (aloo roti platter)were undercooked and the roti (buss up shut ) wasn't busted up too much into tiny shredded pieces. We tried about half of the menu and every single item was exquisite. Fantastic staff and nice atmosphere.
The atmosphere vibe was Kool. There is only one person who is your server/bartender/host. The food wasn't not terrible but could be more of a traditional Trini vibes. Also, wanted to give a compliment to the owner but she refused. Furthermore, the COST of the food was extremely HIGH.
Went on Eventbrite to reserve spot for 7 people and we all showed up, the restaurant was CLOSED. Other people were waiting outside and even DoorDashers were outside waiting for food that was never going to come.
Ordered double to go and only received 1 double and the sauce was good but the chickpeas was hard. Not worth the money
