I bought a 65 Malibu trunk emblem made by Trim Parts. The casting is excellent and the chrome plating is bright, but the red paint in the letters SS is faded and dull. I’m very disappointed the red is not fire engine red as it should be. I replaced the “Malibu SS” script on the quarter panels and that SS is exactly as it should be, bright red.
