Hey. This place sucks - it only help the kids who are so desperate to get out they'd do anything. The staff are nice but you lose a lot of trust in them after holds and they jump to conclusions constantly. There is no communication. They didn't let me go outside for 6 weeks. They told me I was only going to be there for a month. 9 months later, I'm out. This place is horrible.
I went to Trillium family services day treatment program called Nrothpont back in 2024 summer time, I got out of the program in October 2024. The program helped me 100% and I leard so much skills and what I need and my partners and family and friends learned how to help and support me better. I have learned so much there at the program the staff and my school teacher Ms.Amanda and my therapist Krystal where amazing and all of the staff and the kids that where there where super good the advmeant was amazing. Let’s never forget the girl that commit suicide there and she was supposed to be on watch, they didn’t find her for hours! I’m 31 now, and about 15-16 at the time. But I will NEVER forget the neglect and abuse that happened at this place, they also make you take tons and tons of medication and if you don’t, you are not complying with treatment. I stayed here at Mallet for residential around September-October of 2022. Though my stay was short, it was the worst experience I've ever had with treatment. My first night there, I was hudled up in the corner of my bed for hours and hours crying because all i could hear was all the other patients in their rooms screaming and crying, banging on the walls all at once as another patient was screaming for staff to stop as they dragged them down the stairs and took them out of the house to somewhere else.
