Average When this store opened I was very excited, because I shopped at the Trigs in the northwoods, and now that I have been there a few times, I am not very thrilled about it. I do NOT like the fact that you cant bring carts out(due to the "sloping parking lot". It really is a pain for me to shop here with my infant son, I shop elsewhere due to the cart thing. The staff is okay, prices are a little higher than other grocers in the area. the parking lot was not designed very good.
Gas savings and groceries to boot! I stopped to do a quick pick up of some items I needed and read about the recent gas savings on certain items. These items were very numerous and many of the items we all use. I was expected the items to be higher priced to make up for it and they didn't appear to be higher. I was impressed with my savings and that I could save 5 receipts before cashing out at the pump. This is a place I will do all my shopping and gas purchases fromnow on. A place who truly values the customer.
UNBEATABLE service I got a cake from their bakery for my daughters birthday and it was perfect. So again this year I decided to get another. I called a few days ahead and ordered it. When I showed up (45 minutes before her party) to pick it up... it wasn't ready. And the bakery lady told me it wouldn't be ready for 2 hours because someone had called in sick and she had other cakes to make. She tried showing me some in the case but I was not having it. Trigs This store is a very nice addition to the Wausau area. A very large grocery store, it's always very clean and the folks that work here are very helpful and friendly. Prices are competetive and the check out lines move quickly.
Good Store I like this store simply because you do not need a special card to get sale prices - I can never find mine for the other stores. The shopping cart in the parking lot doesnt bother me because I can never carry them with my son anyways - so drive up is simple. They seem to have competitive prices and a pretty well selection - sometimes even wonderful sales. I LOVE their deli chicken, its wonderful.
