A warning to anyone taking their pets to Trickum Ridge Animal Hospital. Find another vet. After spending close to $2,000.00 dollars and having to wait days for prescriptions to be filled because only one of the vets can write prescriptions they now inform us that it is just too difficult to see our pets and provide the care we are expecting. We love Trickum Ridge Animal Hospital! Even our dog, Cocoa, loves to go! Now our cats, on the other hand...that's a different story, ha ha! ;) They hate to go, but they are terrified of everything. ;) Dr. Woods is extremely thorough with Cocoa, and also explains everything in detail to us, right down to what we might expect to find online with regards to any medications or vaccines that she is suggesting. Dr. Wood who cherishes my fur babies as much as I do. This was a hard year of saying goodbye to my Cyrus (13 yr old Kuvasz). Hard thing to do since we had him in our lives since he was 8 weeks old. But his body said," No more" and we all knew to he was suffering. One of my darkest days. The staff and Dr. Wood knew our heartache, pain & sorrow that my husband & myself were experiencing. I called Trickum Ridge because my 8 month old kitten was in need of care right away. The front office staff was considerate and accommodating. Dr. Hekking was very kind and knowledgeable. He gave 1000% and was generally concerned for not only Oliver's (my kitten) well being, but also mine.
