We have been searching for a good soul food spot close to home. We always had to drive out VA to get some halfway decent soul food. I’m very happy with our experience. We had the fried fish, fried chicken, yams, greens, and Mac and cheese. No complaints. Everything was delicious. Keep up the good work and contributing to our community. This is much needed.
If you’re looking for southern soul food in the DMV look no further because everything here tasted like home! You could taste the love in the yams, Mac and cheese, and cabbage. The fried chicken was also good but a little bit on the saltier side but I’ll be back to Tricey’s again soon.
I was really looking forward to trying their food after seeing so many great reviews. I placed an order for a jerk chicken entrée with two sides and added an extra side. After waiting over an hour for delivery—and paying an extra delivery fee—you can imagine my surprise when my order arrived, and all I got was the extra side. Nothing else.
