St. James needs to remove “luxury living” from their name. Two of the three elevators that we use have been broken for a week, last month two of the gates into the garage were broken for 3+ weeks, the elevator next to our unit was broken for 2+ months when we moved in, and the glue came undone on our bathroom mirror and shattered. The working freight elevator is the photo below as well as the mirror. EDIT: I would like to note that I have sent St. James an email regarding this and still have yet to receive a reply.
I had a really underwhelming experience during my apartment tour. The leasing agent didn’t ask any questions about what I was looking for or provide any helpful information. To make things worse, I came in specifically to see a 1-bedroom unit, but was only shown a 2-bedroom with no explanation or apology. It felt rushed and impersonal, like they weren’t really interested in helping me find the right fit. Definitely not the kind of experience you hope for when looking for a new home
GET A NEW GARAGE DOOR COMPANY. The only negative reviews here are about the garage doors, it goes back years. HOW IS IT STILL A PROBLEM?
I loved my time at the St James. The location can’t be beat and the units are really well done. Andre with apartment life is excellent too - fun and unique events.
Today is very bittersweet for me as I hand in the keys to my apartment at St. James. I have lived here for 7 years. When I moved in back in 2018, it was called Trianon by Windsor. I have watched it change over the years and have been very impressed with how Knightvest has remodeled. They also clearly prioritize community life by hosting numerous social gatherings, happy hours, and free breakfasts/coffee.
