Recommended3 weeks ago Stella was diagnosed with a malignant mass. Stella and I took the surgical referral to Triangle Veterinary Referral Hospitals. Today, TVRH, discharged Stella a little lighter than a few days ago and my decision to drive 6 hours for the best surgical care is validated. I hate that I had to visit the ER here twice in the past year, but they were wonderful both times. The first I ended up saying goodbye to my 13yo lab, but the staff were compassionate and gave me plenty of time with her. The second visit they helped support my silly new dog who ate something she shouldn’t have and I got her back all fixed up the next morning. They communicated with our primary vet about the visits so she was in the loop as well.

They accepted our dog for chemotherapy when others wouldn’t. They’re blessings from God who are attentive, thorough in their paperwork and explanations, and empathetic to us dog parents.
My feline, Sparrow, was attacked by one of my foster dogs. I wanted to give her every opportunity to live and rushed her to TVRH. It was touch and go for the first 48 hours but this amazing team pulled her through. She received exemplary care round the clock and as a nurse I do believe her care was better than what most people receive. Everyone was very concerned, helpful, and they kept me informed with phone updates every day. Sparrow is doing well and looking forward to having her surgical staples removed.
