About this business
First, we believe to be a great restaurant, you need to have great food. We source as much of our food locally as possible. We use beef from cattle herds that are raised exclusively on South Carolina grass pasture. These yummy cows come from McCutchen Farms in Kingstree and Hill Creek Farms in Darlington. Also, as a service to our guests, we are a drop site for a local farm's CSA program...Hudson Family Farm in Rowesville is also one of our sources for local produce.

My husband and I are from out of town. We heard about this place from a waitress at another restaurant. We looked up the menu and had to have to brisket mac lollipops. We went there for lunch, hoping to start with the lollipops and then move to our entrees. After we got our app, it was 20+ minutes after we were finished that our waitress came back over. I had the pork tacos which were absolutely delicious. However the star of the show was my husband's dinner- the Hot Sh*t Part Deux Burger. Hands down the BEST burger I have ever tasted.. the bacon, the fried egg, the BACON JALAPEÑO JAM- omg. Out of this world. Paired with a beautiful night and warm, fun ambiance.. most excellent dinner experience for a couple of tourists!
Expensive, cold fries burgers wasn't that great. Won't be back!
I was impressed by the genuinely friendly staff. Our waitress was sweet and patient with my inquisitive 3 year old. Great service, great menu.

We were raveling and spent a couple visits. Catchy neighborhood vibe with good service and a bit of an eclectic menu if for no other reason than its creative. I could pick at a couple points but we enjoyed it for exactly what it is....local neighborhood bar that does most things right!

My family has been going here for years (Avondale location), but every time the menu changes, it's for the worse! First the sweet tea chicken goes, then the best salads, now grit bites? Y'all....bring back the grit bites!
Our first time to Triangle as a group of us from work stopped by. The place was not busy and the service at the bar was the worst ever. I guess maybe she doesn't need the great tips we leave even for mediocre service. We will not be back.
Perfect grits and very good red sangria! I enjoy every visit here.
