Been with out power for three days now. I have a bird and a cat the can't go outside. We need power restored to the blue ridge landing area which is a local area and they're all the way over in Keaton beach. This is beginning to get very frustrating. I'm very disappointed in the service to its members.
I am really trying to be optimistic about this situation. I completely understand that people with medical needs need power before me however I have been without power since 1am Friday morning. People literally 1/4 a mile away from me have power and have since Friday. I have fish, a dog and 2 cats that are stuck inside. I have watched numerous power trucks pass my house and it's getting very frustrating. I have looked at the power outage map and sometimes where I am located is on the map and others it is not. The last time we had a hurricane come to Perry I listened to the scanner and these worked all night, in the storm to restore people's power!!! Florida power got a call the next morning about a down, live power from the Perry PD and the refused to respond until all wind was gone. Thank you for all your hard work!
