They may be great at phones, but no so great with tablets. Initially took a Samsung tablet in for locking up, flickering screen, after having it over a month, had the main board replaced. Seemed to be fine the few times we used it, then the flickering screen returned. Back it goes, was told it could be a main board, a screen or the battery. Huh, board has been done, unit has always been treated well, lets go with a battery. Was told a battery was replaced, unit tested fine. Cool. Had an iPhone that had been totally smashed--no display whatsoever. But it still powered on. Tri-Cities Phone & PC Repair managed to get all the data off it and backed up to a USB thumbdrive for me. They were very helpful and responsive. On another occasion, I had a phone that was too far gone for any kind of recovery (it was basically bent in half). They told me upfront that the data was unsalvageable. In my experience the staff is forthright and competent--I would recommend them to anyone in need of phone repair.
