Food was really not that good! And be prepared if you come with the party they will not split the bill!! It comes as one bill that you almost have to be an accountant to figure out. I will never step foot back there again. And will never recommend this place to eat.
Can't beat Taco Tuesday Tres Hombres is a clean, fun place with good, not great food. I don't think I would go here on a regular basis. The food is good but pricey. However, Taco Tuesday is a deal and a half. For two dollars you can get a chicken taco which is actually more of a fajita or a baja taco which contains a breaded fish and a tasty coleslaw.
Tres Hombres is exactly the type of restaurant & atmosphere that Petaluma was in dire need of. I have been to Tres Hombres over 30 times since it first opened. Not only is the food spectacular, but the serivce is second to none. Through my extensive expreience as a customer of Tres Hombres, it seems to me as if everyone is always happy while at Tres...probably has something to do with the relaxing vibe that permeates throughout the restaurant. I was so excited about this particular restaurant opening in the theater district, but very disappointed by the two times I have been. Although it is one of the nicest large restaurants in Petaluma, the food is simply so-so to not good. The chips smell like burnt plastic and my fish taco tasted like canned tuna with salsa mixed in. The corn tortilla was so dry it split open and was inedible. Bummer!
