They will blatantly lie or mislead you. They're basically sociopathic loan sharks. Stay away from them at all costs.
Terrible company needs to use people old restraining order cases that they had NOTHING to do with to give the illusion that their company can help people. Instead of the malious internet stalking company that they really are! Lol! This company refused to remove my old restraining order case from their website & Google after I followed the removal steps! Instead they posted TWICE! under my name on two google pages! Thank God the guy I tried to put the restraining order on is doing life in jail or my life could be in danger! I... read more
Garbage. Refuses to take my personal information off their website over a lawsuit that I won. All I want is to move on and put it behind me. This company is going to fail.
Business response:
I'm sorry that this gentleman's experience has not been to his satisfaction. However, with the limited information included with this review, I am unable to identify him as a Trellis customer. If he would like to contact me at (***) ***-****, I will be happy to discuss matters with him. John *******, Ombudsman, Trellis
This company sent me an email with unredacted confidential information about a person they're trying to collect a debt from that I do not know. My last name is the same as the (very common) first name of the person they were looking for, which leads me to believe they are spamming any email that contains "James" in it with this poor gentleman's private information. That is a despicable practice and, if it is not already illegal, it should be.
Horrible company of crooks, they refuse to respond to requests for documentation. This company claims that I had school loans when I wasn't even enrolled in school. The doors of this company should be closed and the people running the company should be tried in a court of law and jailed.
This company in 2018 contacted every student loan company buying out student loan companies that had accounts in default..so when tax season came around they had a high chance of garnishing your taxes for a huge payout ..there is a female they put on the phone every time that’s rude and she’s quick to say she has a consent form with your signature on it.. John has no problem telling you to fight to get loans forgiveness or borrower forgiveness because he know you have no chance of fighting for your money because they all wor... read more
I have spent the last three days calling this company on a debt of 52.00 that they reported on my credit score. I went to the original source even, comcast, they told me that I can get it removed and this is a huge oversight. She gave me a number to call and the receipt showing 0.00 owed to comcast. To this minute, three days later not one representative with any authority has reached out to me. My credit score dropped 80 points because of this! It is insane to think that 52.00 can do that, but even more insane that this deb... read more
This is the worst company ever. I had my loan with Navient which was under investagation and they sold it to Trellis. Now Trellis is calling my job and sent a letter staing they wanted to garnish my wages, but I never recieved a judgement for that. I got an attorney and he has requested information from Trellis, like the orginal promissary notes, the price they purchased my loans for from Navient. But they refuse to send that info. I want to block my wage garnishment until I see some legal paper work. They call my place of e... read more
I got ripped off by this company's predecessor, TG Loans. Trellis now has my account. In 2006, my wife contracted cancer and I had to give up my job to care for her. We lost everything and we moved to Europe (I have dual citizenship) so she could get healthcare. I informed TG about my intentions all along and advised that I would continue to try and pay. I have kept copies of all correspondence. My wife pulled through and we were eventfully able to move back to the US and I found a decent-paying job. Within a week, TG were ... read more
