This place is magical! Great selection of native plants and knowledgeable, helpful staff. The display looked like a serene botanical garden -- worth to visit, even if you're not currently in the market for buying more plants. There also is a lovely bookshop. And freshly brewed coffee and cookies awaited me!

Picking up plants here isn't an errand; it's a pilgrimage. I am so grateful for the beauty of this place and for all they do to support California native plants.
Everyone is so helpful and knowledgeable. We have been coming here for many years. We started by planting native, drought-tolerant plants in our back yard and the parkway along our property line. This year we had the front lawn removed and had an excellent landscape designer guide us through a drought-tolerant replacement.
