My hands-down favorite plant nursery on Earth! Fantastic selection of California native (and a few near-native) plants of all shapes and sizes. Amazingly knowledgeable staff who really believe in what they’re doing and in the innumerable benefits of using natives. I love everything about this place and if you care at all about the nature of California so will you!

A huge selection of California natives, an inspiring location, a fantastic book shop, and a wonderfully knowledgable staff who will take the time to prepare you for planting California natives - how to and went to water. Plus they have oodles of handouts and resources. I bought a wooly blue curls this weekend and while it was sitting in its container by my back door, waiting to be planted, a hummingbird came up to it! California natives bring a miracle of wildlife into my yard.
The best selection of California native plants with knowledgeable staff and good service! Also, it’s surrounded by California natives — sycamores, manzanita, California lilac, and many others.
Good selection of healthy native plants at good prices. Their Saturday lectures are worthwhile and very informative.
