Alice always knew she wanted to run a business that made people smile, so in 2003, she decided to do it in the best way possible -- she moved to Florida and opened an ice cream shop. Treats on the Beach is the cheerful stand every beach town should have. With 25 flavors of hand-scooped ice cream and a menu full of hamburgers, hot dogs, and other summery snacks, it's no wonder tourists and locals flock to them after a day in the sun. And Alice gets to live out her dream every day -- there's no shortage of smiles around here!

We have stopped here every time we go to NSB, great ice cream. However, we stopped by this last Tuesday to treat a family member who was here visiting and I could not believe how rude we were treated! We bought 2 ice cream cones but not one word was spoken to us the entire visit! We felt like we interrupted their day. I would think we would of been a welcome site as the area was not busy due to the wet weather I’m assuming and they had no other customers. 9 pm on Thursday and they already have the soft serve machine closed. With 15 more people behind us that left because of it. The only one that got ice cream was the toddler.

I am so disappointed that almost every time I come with my family “the soft serve machine is down or being cleaned” why would you clean the soft serve machine an entire hour before you close??

Britney I too am disappointed that you did not receive the soft serve you were hoping for ...we usually will start cleaning the machine about 30 minutes before closing ...Thursday was an exception ,as the machine was not producing ice cream properly ,we had a scheduled a service call...they called to ask if they could start early ,which I granted .We have many other offerings to satisfy that ice cream craving. Cute place with lots of flavors! I love the little trivia and would you rather cards they had outside in the buckets; our kids had fun playing those while we ate ice cream. �

Great place! Friendly staff and awesome ice cream - a ton of soft serve falcons! They were also so sweet to our pup! This is a must for anyone in new Smyrna
