The problems are not always based at Treasure Coast Orthopedics. Sometimes they stem from your Doctor’s office or the Insurance company. We encountered a two week delay in service because of a simple code number that needed to be entered into the computer by our doctors office ( CONVIVA ). After numerous phone calls and visits in person, the only person who took the time and initiative to help us was ANGIE at Coastal Orthopedics in Port St. Lucie. I would never suggest using this facility. I was in an auto accident and i have 100% auto insurance coverage for the said accident. TC Ortho turned me away because I have medicaid as my normal insurance. I was informed they will not treat me because when the auto ins. runs out they wont accept self pay. Interesting enough, they had not checked the actual coverage nor made an assessment to verify the extent of the physical damage.
