Dr. Treanor is very attentive to a patients medical needs. He has been an excellent Dr. since the first day..I tried to get treatment for high blood pressure somewhere else for a while to no avail. For 2 years atleast. Dr. Treanor and his Nurse Practitioner have done an excellent job keeping my blood pressure in a safe range. Also,when I was to sick to travel I was able to schedule a phone appointment and I received the proper diagnosis and the proper treatment and I was much better in 2 days and over it in 2 weeks. Dr. Leonard Treanor is the friendliest and most personable doctor I think I’ve ever met. He is one of my favorite doctors! He always seems to be in a good mood and even when I’m down, he always makes me feel better, just with his presence and jokes. He always listens to what I’ve researched and think is wrong with me. My mom is in North Oaks Hospital he comes in looks art he room won’t answer questions puts his nose in the air walks out. He is rude, arrogant, and useless. Never would I recommend him to even an ant.
I would highly recommend Dr. Treanor. Very involved and interested in listening to what’s wrong, never feel rushed. Very responsive to phone calls, great office staff. Would highly recommend. Very knowledgeable on Latest best practice.

Stays in room maybe 2 minutes tells you what he is calling in says I will be there right back n u never see him again very arrogant n doesn’t listen to you doesnt return phone calls highly disappointed
Dr. Treanor was recommended by a friend,i after moving to Hammond. I was a bit nervous about seeing a new physician after almost 20 years with my previous primary care doctor - especially since I usually only will see a female physician. However, Dr. Treanor immediately put me at ease with his laid back, easy to talk to manner. He is very thorough and doesn't rush you in & out leaving you feeling like a number. I"m switching my husband to this doctor now and will recommend him to everyone!
I am a nurse and have 10+ years experience. I am VERY picky when I choose a MD. Dr. Treanor is worth every last penny. He makes ALL his patients feel like family. He has even answered the phone while on vacation, to address my concerns. As far as medical knowledge, I have worked with hundreds of doctors and I have personally never heard a complaint ever. (Which in the hospital setting is almost impossible.) I have full insurance, however out my network, I choose him.
