Above and Beyond Call of Duty. brought in something that was a simple issue but it would have been just as easy for them to charge me for it. They did not because they value the local customer. And that is one of the reasons that will bring me back!

Took my bike to Treads in Parker to have some work done. Spoke with the shop manager, Andrew, when I checked my bike in. He refused to do work I asked for: brake bleed, new brakes, new big ring, new cables and housings, and upgrade the rear derailuer. Actually he even isisted that the cables I wanted were fine even as I told him the rear was snapped. Instead when I get my bike back it had a new derailuer ( not the one I wanted), charged for adjusting the front and rear that was never done. The tech told me on the phone the r... read more

My husband was just in your store, and I must say we are extremely disappointed in the service and lack of attention given to very simple questions. We were told on a previous visit a tire tube could be ordered for our granddaughters tire, 10” x 2”. However, when he went in a short time ago, he was told “I don’t think we can do that”, my husband informed the young man of his previous visit, and this person never even went to the computer to check to see if the tube could be ordered! Poor knowledge when it comes to carbon fiber issues. A shop in boulder and a carbon repair service in boulder confirmed the issues I had with a cannondale sold to me from treads and the assessment treads put forward was completely incorrect. I will never suggest people shop at treads or purchase any Chinese Cannondale. Cannondale customer service could not explain the reason the frame cracked after a 1hr ride due to lack of knowledge and under standing of carbon fiber material. I am an aging, struggling, pain in the neck woman who has loved bicycling as long as I can remember. I visited several bicycle purveyors before hesitantly stepping into my "hometown" Brighton Treads. I was helped immediately, sensitively-with the necessary Sarcasm & humor I thrive on-without pressure even though I couldn't be a more atypical customer. I've returned often, sporting little but flats, questions and needs and yet have been helped each time like I was their best customer. Thank you for keeping me rolling!
