Dr Maestas has grown considerably in the 4 years he’s been my internist. I’’m a newbie to Kaiser, after my long time (& expensive!) “concierge“ internist retired. I was quite sure young Dr Maestas called me by name, only because he read it on the file as we talked early on. I challenged him at my second visit, saying “you will likely be attending me as I breathe my last… so can we build some personal rapport?”Now he is engaged, personal, and a thorough clinician. Dr. Maestas really cares about the wellness of his patients. If you’re a member of Kaiser and LGBT he is someone I can definitely recommend. His follow up after visits is remarkable. I’ve never experienced a physician who really cares about his patients. I’d join Kaiser just to have him as my doctor.
Dr. Maestas is incredibly prompt in addressing questions or concerns. He is comforting to his patients, listens to his patients, and provides excellent care.
I absolutely love Dr.Maestas. He is one of a kind. He listens intently to me and gives me such helpful feedback. He’s kind and very caring. As usual, I had an amazing experience at my appointment. He is an excellent doctor and a great asset to Kaiser Permanente!
