Dr. Traverso has been my hand doctor for several years and I absolutely love him. While sometimes he is late for my appointment, it is worth the wait. My feeling is that if he spending more time with another patient which delays my appointment that’s OK because I would expect the same courtesy to me. He is very big on conservative treatment and doesn’t jump right to surgery which as a RN, I appreciate. I saw Dr. Traverso for a distal radius fracture. He is an excellent doctor who is very knowledgeable, and takes the time to explain what he sees and discuss the options, and his recommendations for treatment. He performed the necessary surgery on my wrist, which went well, and followed my rehabilitation until completed. I would highly recommend Dr. Traverso.

I called Dr. Traverso the night of my surgery to ask a few questions, realized it was late and didn’t expect a cb til next day. He called me that night to reassure me.
His treatment was excellent and referred me to a hand therapist who solved the issues with my fractured thumb. Dr. Traverso originally took X-rays when Akumin said nothing was broken but I knew something was wrong and he told me it was fractured and put me into a cast before I had the physical therapy.
