Rooms were mid. Old, hairs in the sink and tub upon check in, and apparently a Wednesday night party above out room. After a terrible sleep with spotty air conditioning, awoke to realize the coffee maker was provided with no cups to use it. May not be the end of the world but at over $250/night and a terrible sleep, ill be avoiding this chain from now on Definitely stay elsewhere.
In my opinion, we were given the worst room! The room had a very weird and uncomfortable smell. Bed had stains around them too. Furniture had bite marks and damage on them, obviously from a pet. Walls had stains and vandalism. We should have been warned about the condition of the room or at least given a choice instead of instantly putting us in that room even though we did not have a pet! This was an awful experience of a hotel stay. We had to last minute book and unfortunately Travelodge was the only place with rooms available. When walking in the hotel has a musty smell. There is an ancient elevator with limited signage to get you to the rooms. We had a room on the second floor. The window lock was broken, we wedged a coat hanger to ensure we had it secure. I booked online. Amount was $176.00 imagine how shocked I was when you HAVE to pay a damage deposit with no warning. Now I had to pay $350 and then wait for a week for the deposit to be returned. On my online booking, I asked for spare pillows for the king size bed. I also requested a ground floor room. My room was on 2nd floor, no extra pillows. The room had a odd smell to it.
