A 5-star review for a 2-star hotel. We were in Costa Mesa to visit old friends and family, and the hotel was packed with beach goers and families. Other than parking, and the fact that it's in Costa Mesa, this is an excellent hotel for a short family stay, an inexpensive vacation, or a short business stay. Older hotel and a quite& Room was ok
The hospitality at this quaint hotel was remarkable. The concierge went above and beyond to get me $2 the vending machine ate. I made no fuss, only asked if they had a key. Not a big deal but my room phone rang later that night and they brought 2 dollar bills to my room. It may be a nearly insignificant amount but the action speaks volumes to me. I travel frequently and that is out of the norm. Clean rooms, good shower and the a/c worked VERY well.
Honestly it's worth the price
Clean rooms- bring your own towel they are scratchy- key cards didn't work the 2nd day and had to reprogram them. Clean facility and clean pool - easy access and location. Good enough
