We checked early there was a $15.00 charge. Our rooms air condition wasn't working and we got moved to another room. It was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was decent. Waffles, hard boiked eggs, cereal, toast, bagels, fruit, oatmeal, pastries, milk, juice, and coffee. We were in town for National's a Karate tournament. I would recommend this place.

After reading the reviews posted for this hotel, I was a bit nervous to stay here. However, I was pleasantly surprised with my stay at this Travelodge. Yes, it is an older hotel an when walking through the hallway you are reminded that this is an older hotel, there were some very positive features. The room I had was large with two beds, a refrigerator, and a microwave. The bathroom was large and had been remodeled not long ago. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. We booked thru Hotels.com and thought a three star won't be that bad. We were on a budget this week and I was very sick the day we checked in. We stayed 4 days.Checkin took a bit due to someone telling the hotel guy their life story ( as I was ready to pass out)! But he was prob the owner and was very nice with them and me. I did have my little service animal with me and that was no problem. But he did mention that he DID have a service Animal problem recently with a large hairy dog. I assured him my Yorkie does not shed. So... read more

The room was clean, the AC worked and the wifi worked. It was close to downtown and easy to get to. Everything you need for nice stay.

The staff at this Travelodge is both courteous and helpful. The breakfast area was always clean and stocked. Our room was always clean and spacious. I would recommend this hotel to anyone here on business or vacation. its convenient to Fort Sam, BAMC, Splash Town, the AT & T center, and down town.
