I was on a whirlwind trip to California to meeet commercial lighting consultant, Ted Novak of TNT Solar & Lighting. Ted asked me to accompany him to his call on Mr. Phippen's Almond grove. We Michiganders rarely get to see such exotic sights, so I jumped at the chance. Samples of flavored almonds were offered in the lobby.
