Spanish Octapus was amazing, we didn’t expect the octopus to turned out so tender. I had the Fillet, cooked to perfection medium rare, just the way I like. My husband had The Gargannelli with Berkshire porchetto, pasta were al dente cooked. Tiramisu was good too. The service was very pleasant, nice smiling service. We really had a nice time at dinner. Yes, we will be back when we are in town next time.

Poor service, the snobbish waitress was offended when we did not order an appetizer and when we did not want to even look at the dessert menu. We asked her to take our picture and she did not. My food was tasty but my wife's dish was GARBAGE (lamb ragu) and so was her drink. I will spread the word that this is not a good restaurant. Locals have told me that Pepe Nero is much better! I will be going there next time.

Our experience at Trattoria Stella was amazing! Our server Dillon was so attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. His recommendations we're perfection. The manager on duty was wonderful, even offering to assist us in securing a ride back to our hotel after finding out we walked there after misjudging the distance. I ordered the short ribs and they were so very tender and flavourful! if you are in Traverse City and want a stellar meal, Trattoria Stella is your place!
Great service. The front of the house is kind and knowledgeable. The back of the house.. that was one of the worst dinners I have had in a very long time. So sad. The Chef that night must have been insecure of his dishes to use that much salt. I’ll stop with that. Never again for me.
