CIAO BELLA~DELICIOSO! – This is my favorite Italian Restaurant in the City and Bay Area! It is Warm; Friendly; Inviting; a Wonderful little Bistro style restaurant that has the Charm and Ambience of what it would like to be dining in Italy. feel like family – This trattoria was recommended by friends. We dined there for my birthday 2 years ago and it was wonderful. We have returned several times since then, making the 100+ mile trip because we love it so much. Great food and service! – I love this restaurant. The food is excellent and the service is good too. Make sure you make reservations on the weekends. We have taken several out of town guests out for dinner at Trattoria and it is always a big hit!
Absolutely Wonderful – The best food in San Fran. We had such a great experience, we tried to get reservations the next night as well. Highly recommended.
Great Pasta!! – I'm a pasta freak, and you can't get much better than this place. I had the gnocci--which melted in my mouth. My date had the chicken-pancetta-cheese thing. Great home cooking. Wine list isn't extensive, but had some of my favorites. The restaurant is slightly crowded, thanks to its small space. The service is attentive and pleasant.
Perfection – The first time I went I had veal scallopini -- sheer heaven. I can't imagine anyone making it better than Trattoria Contadina! We've been back many times since to enjoy the atmosphere, the excellent service, and the sumptuous foods. A very friendly family atmosphere! Our favorite place to go for our anniversary and birthdays! :)
Great Spot – I love this place. The food is always good and service is fine. It gets a little crowded and I would not dine upstairs unless you like it hot. The wine list is spotty but it's still fine with the meal. If you want good Italian at a fair price go here.
