Recently my transmission failed as I was on the highway. John got my car towed into his shop right away and was fixed two days later. Just because they had to wait on some special order parts. John was very helpful and always kept me posted as to what the status was. When i got my car back it shifted beautifully and was like a new car. I would recommend them to anyone.
Truly wonderful experience. My transmission blew out and this place was fast and AFFORDABLE. I couldnt afford a lump some payment so I talked to the owner and he worked with me allowing me to make payments. I strongly recommend transmissions by bruce, GREAT SERVICE.
This was a NIGHTMARE experience for me! I felt like my car was stolen from me. John quoted $900. Four day later, he calls me and says $1900. I spent 50 minutes on the phone trying to explain him that I would never go for that price since trade in for this car is $1500. He offered me to take it to a junk yard as the only alternative. Terrible Experience – I had a rebuilt transmission put in my car 11 months ago. I took it back and was told the radiator broke and that the transmission was not salvageable. According to John, I needed a new transmission. This was a complete lie. When I went to get my car, John wouldn't even face me and refused to give me a receipt with his diagnosis until I refused to leave without getting one. True Professionals in the Transmission Business – WOW!!! This place is it for professional repair on your transmission. I called seveal other places, and Trans By Bruce offered free towing, ( which I didnt need, my truck was still roadworthy) Dropped the truck off, got a call stating Exactly what was wrong, and how far gone it was, After explaining what was needed, they asked several other questions about my truck and future plans with it, The repair recommendation was made and an estimate was given. Saved Me!!! – I have a 2004 Escape, had many codes that popped up, kept it from passing emissions, all my other shops wanted too much money. They diagnosed it, found the one problem, fixed it in a timely manner, didn't overcharge me labor or parts, and it runs like a champ. Excellent techs, excellent service, better than any shop I've been to. A+.

Really Nice Guys and Very Helpful – Our daughter's transmission was slipping and when the transmission light came on we had her take it to Bruce's. good people, just bad luck, my car still not right – UPDATE a week after my car was done a sensor for the tranny went out, they did fix it for FREE, which was good seeing how his quote was 300.00 higher then any quote i got for a complete rebuild from his competitors, now my tanny is leaking tranny fluid, and im going to have to take it back again, hopefully its something simple, ill update again once my car gets looked at for the leaks.
