Yolanda cares a lot about her clients. She makes the experience enjoyable and will make sure you get value for your money and time in her chair. She takes the time to look at each loc during retightening appointments and fixes any holes as needed. She also keeps a very sanitary environment. She’s not only a loctician but also a very good educator, she teaches you how to care for hair!
I walked into a clean and relaxing environment. Because of the consultation for my instant locs, I felt more comfortable about what to expect. I also felt less self critical, because of the care that was shown during those 30 min. When coming in for my loc app (2nd meeting), it felt like sitting in a family members chair. Yolanda and I talked for hours, about many topics, all while she was gently locking my hair. She is someone who aims to make you comfortable, and genuinely cares to learn, and teach you about your hair.
I kinda knew sister Locs would be tedious but she got it done and I was able to catch my early flight. About 95% gray, short hair, with two textures of soft and/or silky hair - and she was able to loc and add handmade extensions to match my hair color. During the consultation she listens to your vision and provides realistic expectations. She pays attention to detail during the installation. Totally grateful!
I have been coming to Yolanda for over a yr now My hair is healthy and because of Transitional roots process and experience I have more confidence not to mention I have a disability and use a wheelchair Yolonda is open minded, and goes above and beyond Definitely recommend
